This Air Fryer Salmon & Asparagus recipe is a quick and healthy meal featuring perfectly seasoned salmon and tender asparagus cooked together in the air fryer. It’s an effortless way to prepare a delicious dinner with minimal cleanup, combining bold seasoning and vibrant flavors.

Ingredients

Salmon

  • 1 lb salmon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tbsp garlic salt
  • 2 tbsp Texas Seasoning (or favorite steak seasoning)

Asparagus

  • 1 lb asparagus, washed and trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (drizzle or spray for asparagus)
  • Salt and pepper to taste (or lemon pepper and garlic salt as stated)

Instructions

  1. Season the Salmon: Generously rub the salmon with lemon pepper seasoning, garlic salt, and Texas seasoning on all sides to infuse it with bold flavors.
  2. Prepare the Asparagus: Place the washed and trimmed asparagus in the bottom of the air fryer basket. Drizzle or lightly spray the asparagus with olive oil and sprinkle with lemon pepper and garlic salt to season it.
  3. Assemble in Air Fryer: Lay the seasoned salmon on top of the bed of asparagus in the air fryer basket, ensuring even placement for consistent cooking.
  4. Air Fry Cooking: Set the air fryer to 350°F and cook for 18 minutes until the salmon is fully cooked, flakes easily with a fork, and the asparagus is tender.

Notes

  • Trim the woody ends of asparagus before cooking to ensure tenderness.
  • If you prefer crispier asparagus, you can increase the temperature to 375°F but reduce cooking time slightly.
  • Adjust the seasoning quantities based on taste preferences or dietary needs.
  • Check salmon at 15 minutes to avoid overcooking, as thickness may vary.
  • Use a cooking spray instead of drizzle if you want lighter oil coverage on asparagus.
