Ingredients

Banana Pudding Mixture

  • 1 box (3.4 oz) banana cream pudding mix
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup whipped cream vodka
  • 8 ounces whipped topping (half of 16 ounces), divided

Toppings and Garnish

  • 8 ounces whipped topping (remaining half)
  • 40 Nilla wafers, crushed
  • Around 30 banana slices (from about 3 large bananas), optional garnish
  • Around 30 mini Nilla wafers, optional garnish

Equipment

  • 30+ 2-ounce shot cups with lids
  • Frosting bag with frosting tip (optional for garnish)
  • Whisk
  • Baking sheet or flat movable surface

Instructions

  1. Prepare Banana Pudding: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the whole milk and banana cream pudding mix until the mixture thickens, approximately 2 minutes.
  2. Add Vodka: Pour in the whipped cream vodka and whisk again until fully combined and smooth.
  3. Fold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold half (8 ounces) of the whipped topping into the pudding mixture until smooth and well blended.
  4. Chill Mixture: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate to chill while you prepare the cups.
  5. Prepare Shot Cups: Arrange 2-ounce shot cups on a flat, movable surface like a cookie sheet for easy transport.
  6. Add Crushed Nilla Wafers: Spoon about ½ tablespoon of crushed Nilla wafers evenly into the bottom of each shot cup, spreading them flat.
  7. Fill with Pudding: Spoon the chilled pudding mixture over the crushed wafers in each cup, filling about ¾ full.
  8. Add Whipped Topping: Using a piping bag and tip if desired, add a dollop of the remaining whipped topping on top of each pudding-filled shot cup.
  9. Garnish: Top each shot with a banana slice and a mini Nilla wafer, then generously sprinkle the remaining crushed Nilla wafers over the top.
  10. Serve: Cover with lids and refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy these fun and flavorful banana pudding shots!

Notes

  • For best texture, use well-chilled ingredients and assemble shots shortly before serving.
  • If you prefer less alcohol, reduce the whipped cream vodka to ½ cup and increase milk accordingly.
  • The frosting bag is optional but helps achieve a nice whipped topping presentation.
  • Mini Nilla wafers and fresh banana slices make a pretty garnish but can be omitted if desired.
  • Store refrigerated and consume within 24 hours for optimal freshness.
