Ingredients
Main Ingredients
4 slices bread
1/2 wheel Brie cheese, sliced
4 slices bacon, cooked to desired crispiness
1/2 apple, cored and thinly sliced
1 tbsp honey
Butter, for spreading
Instructions
Prepare the bread and cheese: Take 2 slices of bread and place sliced Brie cheese on one side of each slice.
Add the bacon: Layer two slices of cooked bacon on top of the Brie cheese on each bread slice.
Layer the apples: Arrange thinly sliced apple pieces evenly over the bacon.
Drizzle with honey: Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey over the apple slices to add sweetness.
Assemble the sandwich: Top each prepared slice with the remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
Butter the exterior: Spread butter on the outer sides of each sandwich to ensure a golden, crispy crust when grilled.
Heat the grill: Preheat a panini grill over medium heat.
Grill the sandwiches: Place the sandwiches on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and the Brie cheese has melted.
Serve warm: Slice the paninis in half and enjoy immediately for the best taste and texture.
Notes
For a crispier bacon, bake it in the oven before assembling the sandwich.
Use your favorite bread such as sourdough or ciabatta for added flavor and texture.
If you don’t have a panini press, cook the sandwich in a skillet using a heavy pan to press it down.
Honey can be substituted with maple syrup for a different sweetness profile.
The apples can be swapped for pears for a similar but slightly different fruity taste.
