Delightful and healthy Frozen Yogurt Bites featuring creamy Greek vanilla yogurt, fresh berries, and crunchy granola, perfect as a refreshing snack or light dessert.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain Greek vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup granola (your favorite kind)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and to make removal easier.
  2. Mix the yogurt: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt. If using plain yogurt without vanilla, add vanilla extract for flavor and mix well until smooth.
  3. Form yogurt dollops: Using a spoon, drop 2-3 tablespoon-sized dollops of the yogurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart to allow room for freezing.
  4. Add toppings: Evenly distribute blueberries, sliced strawberries, and sprinkle granola on each yogurt dollop.
  5. Freeze the bites: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until the yogurt is fully frozen and firm.
  6. Serve or store: Once frozen, remove the yogurt bites from the freezer and enjoy immediately, or store them in an airtight container or freezer bag in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

  • Use Greek vanilla yogurt for natural sweetness, or add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract if using plain yogurt.
  • Feel free to substitute with other berries such as raspberries or blackberries.
  • Choose granola with low added sugar for a healthier option.
  • Ensure dollops are spaced well to prevent sticking together while freezing.
  • For easier popping off, let the yogurt bites sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving.
