Succulent lobster tails baked to perfection with a rich garlic butter sauce infused with lemon juice and fresh parsley, offering a delightful seafood main course.

Ingredients

Lobster Tails

  • 2 lobster tails

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Lobster Tails: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Using kitchen scissors, cut the top of the lobster shells lengthwise, stopping at the tail. Gently pull the meat out and lay it on top of the shell.
  2. Make the Garlic Butter: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bake the Lobster: Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush generously with the garlic butter mixture. Bake for 20 minutes until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
  4. Serve: Drizzle any remaining garlic butter over the lobster tails and serve with lemon wedges and your choice of side, such as asparagus or rice.

Notes

  • Make sure not to overcook the lobster to keep it tender and juicy.
  • Fresh parsley can be substituted with dried parsley if fresh is unavailable, but reduce the quantity by half.
  • Adjust garlic amount according to your preference.
  • Use unsalted butter to better control the overall saltiness of the dish.
  • For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of white wine to the garlic butter sauce.
