Ingredients
Pretzels and Butter
4 soft pretzel sticks
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Cinnamon Sugar Coating
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat and Cook Pretzels: Arrange the 4 soft pretzel sticks in the air fryer basket and cook them at 320°F for 2 minutes to warm them.
Prepare Pretzel Bites: Remove the pretzels from the air fryer and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Brush the bites generously with melted unsalted butter. Return them to the air fryer and cook for an additional 1 minute to crisp slightly and set the butter.
Mix Cinnamon Sugar: While the pretzels cook, in a small bowl, combine the 3/4 cup brown sugar, 3/4 cup granulated sugar, and 2 tablespoons cinnamon. Stir until well mixed.
Coat the Pretzel Bites: As soon as the pretzel bites come out of the air fryer, sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over them to ensure a sweet, flavorful coating.
Serve Warm: Serve the soft cinnamon sugar pretzel bites warm, optionally accompanied by chocolate sauce for dipping to enhance the flavor experience.
Notes
Use unsalted butter to control the sweetness and salt level of the pretzels.
If you prefer a crispier texture, add an extra minute to air frying after brushing with butter.
Chocolate sauce or caramel dip pairs excellently for dipping these pretzels.
For a lower sugar option, reduce the granulated sugar quantity or substitute with a sugar alternative.
Be sure to coat the pretzels immediately after air frying so the cinnamon sugar sticks well.
